A Christmas Shoot

I'm just going to jump right in and tell you: this shoot has everything in its favor when it comes to recipes for success. I was so excited when Brooke approached us about designing florals for a holiday shoot and absolutely love how everything turned out!

For this bouquet we wanted to use a lot of variety and texture, and thanks to our growers in the southern hemisphere there was a beautiful selection to choose from (even despite the cold we're having here in Utah!). We used peony, dahlia, tulip, and ranunculus stems as the main flowers, with stock, hanging amaranthus, and pepper berry as secondary elements. We finished the bouquet with some mixed greens including arborvitae, seeded eucalyptus, and pine needles. Lastly, holiday flowers just wouldn't be complete without some gold! The glittery Christmas ornaments added that final touch of festive and totally completed the look we were going for.
